Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, a well-known actor and director. He was also a writer, teacher, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a child. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 to continue her acting. She then relocated in Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actorsworkshop held in Los Angeles. The couple was engaged in 2009 before getting married in an unofficial ceremony in was held in December. They renewed their vows on on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton at a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk got a baby named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on 13 May in 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th, 2013 that the show would return in the production. The fourth season debuted on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) among their favorite television couple. Entertainment Television.
